Repairing the gate meant removing the gate and taking it to our workshop, so we made and fitted a temporary gate to stop anyone being inconvenienced. In our workshop, we repaired the gate and machined up the new components needed to make it operate correctly, then took the gate back to site, removed the temporary gate, fitted the repaired one and made sure it operated perfectly.
