Range of Work

We’ve carried out this work for clients ranging from the London Metropolitan University to Barts & North London NHS Trust, to Sodexo, Coca-Cola and David Lloyd Clubs, plus various other clients in London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent and Surrey. We’re skilled in the manufacture and installation of metal platforms, walkways and steps in aluminium, mild steel and dull polished stainless steel and can have them galvanised and/or painted or powder-coated to you specified colour. You can also tell us exactly the type of flooring, handrail, and tread for any steps that you want or we can advise you on the best ones to use, taking into account loads, traffic, environment and any installation restrictions. Drawings Drawings are always helpful and sometimes essential. If the platform isn’t too complicated, we might not need drawings at all or might be able to work from a general arrangement drawing, which we can produce for you free in-house. We can also work from structural engineer’s drawings or produce drawings for you for a fee. Standards All the metal platforms, walkways and steps we produce comply with current British Standards and Health & Safety requirements. Repairs and Improvements

As well as fabricating and installing metal platforms, walkways, steps and all types of ladders, we also carry out repairs and improvements, such as extending platforms, adding handrails and fitting of anti-slip tread covers.

Older Buildings

Older buildings weren't designed to provide easy movement around their roofs to access aerials, storage tanks, air conditioning units etc, or for maintenance and repair. They also often have complex layouts with slops, valleys, glass roof lights and lightwells. We're used to overcoming such challenges and can provide metal platforms, walkways, steps and ladders that will have a minimum impact on the building.
