New Ladders and Handrails
Science Museum's Energy Hall

The museum asked us to provide ladders that would give safe access to the area below the steam engine wheels in the Energy Hall for the cleaning and maintenance teams. We discussed the project with museum personnel, agreed proposals, then manufactured handrails for the existing timber steps, and handrails and safety hoops for the two metal ladders we made and installed. We also altered the metal railings around the exhibits to provide gates to the ladders and steps.
